Jim Munro, OMA-I - Grande Prairie

I am proud to be working within the Side Group of Companies and more directly at Northern Metalic. I have been working with the Lubricant Division since I started in Nov of 2000. Before then I owned several businesses that provided skills that get put use daily.  It is rewarding to work with such a team of professional, dedicated and hardworking people. We have become an Elite Marketer for Chevron and couldn’t be happier to partner with such a strong and world renowned corporation. We have had solid growth since we started which is a testament to the dedicated team we have and the good people we get to work with at Chevron.

My wife Linda and I have 5 amazing daughters that we are very proud of. We are all very involved in the community and happy to call Grande Prairie our home.

Mitch Bombier, OMA-I - Grande Prairie

I have a long history with Northern Metalic,  it was ‘in the family’ so to speak. So, as a child I was running around the shop which led into my career with the company, starting as a teen.  You could say,  I literally started at the bottom and worked my way up through the years.  I joined the Lubricants Division specifically in 2000 as a Projects Manager. I work in all aspects of the division from branch development, ordering, sales, delivering, spec sourcing to ensure our customers are getting exactly what they require for their equipment. If something needs doing I take it on.

I am proud to work for a company that I have grown up with, that holds a lot of the same values I hold in my life about family and community.

I am a born and bred Grande Prairian and I am married with two little guys who keep me busy. Maybe they will be the next generation…

I started with Northern Metalic in 2016. I have been in the fuel and oil Business since 1977, starting with Union 76, mostly in the, logging, ranching, and trucking sectors.

My attitude in the sales end of things is to treat all my customers , new or old, the way I would want to be treated. I would rather help them buy, instead of selling to them.

I have been in Prince George for 45 years, in my spare time, it’s all about ,Fishing ,Hunting, Camping, and family,

Sheldon Wiebe

I joined the Northern Metalic team in March of 2018.  With 24 years of experience in Industrial, Heavy Duty, and Automotive Parts as well as 7 years in trucking and equipment operation this seems like a natural step for me.

Both my wife and I were born and raised in Burns Lake and chose to stay here and raise our two daughters.  We spend as much of our spare time as possible camping, fishing and exploring the great outdoors.

I look forward to serving costumers both new and old.  My goal is to supply the best products and provide the best service.

Cary Maxwell, OMA-I, CLS - Calgary, Alberta

I have worked in sales over the last 20 years. Having firsthand experience working in the drilling industry has been key to helping me understand the variety of companies that Northern Metalic supplies and understand the constraints that our customers face every day. My role at Northern Metalic allows me to do what I like best about my job – work directly with our customers! I’ve earned a Certified Lubricant Specialist (CLS) and Oil Monitoring Analyst (OMA-1) designations. I use this daily on everything from standard lubricant questions to as far as developing lubricant programs with our customers.

I live in Cochrane with my wife and 2 kids. We love to go on adventures in our Westfalia; heading to the mountains, hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. In my spare time I coach football, play guitar and enjoy time with family and friends.

Working at Northern Metalic is more than just a job, it’s working for a company that cares.  Not only about their staff but also the customers and their community.  We strive for excellence in our Customer Service, whatever the issue we will work to help you resolve it, and I appreciate the generosity in which Metalic gives back to the community.

My career began in August of 2011 as the A/R Clerk, during this time I have cross trained for many of the job positions in the Administration department, and in June of 2017, I joined the Lubricants team.  I’m happy to call Grande Prairie my hometown where I’ve raised 5 kids and now enjoy the 6 grandbabies.

I’m proud to work for a growing company that recognizes the hard work and dedication that each employee puts in daily.  You are not just a number you are part of the family, and I look forward too many more years here.
